Positions & Salaries
Crew: You will create a warm and friendly shopping experience in Trader Joe’s stores. You will answer questions, offer suggestions and ensure the customers know that they are welcomed and cared for. You will operate the cash register, bag groceries with care, stock shelves, host product samples for customers, help them find their favorite products and create signage to inform and delight them.
Mate: You will improve the quality of store life by coaching the Crew members, aiming to make them be their best. You will model behavior that supports Trader Joe’s values. You will also perform some of the Crew member duties such as operating the cash register, bagging groceries and stocking shelves.
Prerequisite: 3 years of retail, restaurant or hospitality experience. 2 years of experience at the management or supervisory level.
