Job Positions & Salaries
Groundperson: You will use a chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees. You will also gather brush and feed brush into a wood chipper. You will apply chemical herbicide to right-of-way, following brush removal. You should handle and maintain the equipment in a neat, clean and specified order.
Foreperson: You will obtain oral or written permission from property owners to trim or remove trees and apply herbicides. You will assign work for individual team members. You will aim to maintain good customer and public relations. You will be responsible for loading/unloading processes and maintaining equipment.
Trimmer / Climber: You will trim and remove trees by climbing with the aid of a ladder, safety belt, climbing line, powered trimmer lift truck, or by working from the ground using gasoline, air, and hand-powered saws, pruner, etc. You will load and unload trucks with logs.
