United Natural Foods, also known as UNFI, is an American public corporation of retailing food. The main office of the company is in Providence, Rhode Island. UNFI produces and sells natural food, grocery items, personal care products and supplements. UNFI was established by the unification of Mountain People’s Warehouse and Cornucopia Natural Foods in 1996 by Michael Funk and Norman A. Cloutier. The company expanded by acquiring several companies in the 2000s such as the purchase of Millbrook Distribution Services in 2007 and Haddon House Food Products Inc in 2016. Today there are more than 19,000 people working for the company. UNFI adds 1,000 new items into their products collection of 250,000 items. The company distributes more than 2 million products in 200 categories each day with its 58 locations and 2,200 trucks. There are over ten thousand brands that provide the company with food.

UNFI Job Positions & Salaries
Warehouse Order Selector: You will be expected to identify the correct pick location and pick sequence in accordance with the order. You should pick the correct item and quantity, checking UPCs or item descriptions. You will place pick labels on the side of the cases. You should stage pallets in the appropriate bay. You will operate the pallet jack/pushcart in a safe and efficient manner. You will be responsible for having a strong understanding of the equipment you use, pick locations, pallet building, productivity measures and safety procedures.
