Construction Coordinator

The Construction Coordinator will work with the Construction Manager, Design Manager, and Director of Design & Construction to support new capital projects and other initiatives through construction coordination, project management and administration. This position will support the Construction Manager from pre-construction review of the project all the way through to turn over to the operations team. The Construction Coordinator will assist to ensure the project is completed within scope, on schedule, and within budget. This position will coordinate with other departments such as Supply Chain, Accounts Payable, Accounting and Real Estate to ensure all functions related to new capital projects, remodels and other construction related initiatives are completed.

Essential Functions

  • Provide construction coordination, administration & support to the Construction Project Manager(s).
  • Provide accounting support for GC change orders, payments, and lien waivers.
  • Document the project scope, budget & actual invoicing within spreadsheet.
  • Facilitate bid documents, bid ins, and bid awards.
  • Document all construction exhibit requirements for project closeout.
  • Maintain & deliver the Tracking Report provided by Purchasing to ensure FF&E shipped and delivered per construction schedule.
  • Maintain a working relationship with Purchasing to resolve matters.
  • Provide post NRO warranty support and one year warranty support provided by GC.
  • Coordinate matters between Operations and GC, which includes contacting all trades to ensure matters are resolved quickly throughout post year of construction.
  • Ensure all punch lists and turnover punch lists are completed, signed, and documented.
  • Oversee & own the RRGB Development Report.
  • Oversee funding via NRO capital budgets.
  • Assist with additional project coordination between other departments.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Relevant degree in the field or appropriate certification/licenses.
  • General project coordination experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive)
  • Preferred knowledge of work order network systems such as Corrigo.
  • Prior experience in administration/coordination within a construction role preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Highly organized.
