Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens is a zoo in Los Angeles, California. It was founded in 1966. The zoo and things in the zoo are officially owned by the city of Los Angeles. It contains 1,400 animals of 270 different species. The major attraction centers of the zoo are Campo Gorilla Reserve (not the one Harambe used to live in), Chimpanzees of the Mahale Mountains, Red Ape Rainforest, Sea Life Cliffs and Elephants of Asia. The animal care, maintenance, education and construction are done by Los Angeles city employees.

Positions & Salaries
Membership Ambassador: You will sell memberships and provide service to the public and members at the front entrance Membership Booth, as well as other locations within the Zoo. If you have a friendly and persuasive person, you will be successful as a Membership Ambassador.
Prerequisite: High school diploma. Experience in sales or customer service.
Special Events Assistant: You will provide a friendly, welcoming, and positive guest experience to seasonal events held at the Los Angeles Zoo. You will set up and decorate for special event, and provide general directional information to visitors of the Zoo.
Prerequisite: High school diploma or equivalent.
Sales Manager: You will develop and implement sales plans as the Zoo is a leader in the regional marketplace. You should establish strong relationships with the citizens.
Prerequisite: Bachelor’s degree. 2 years of marketing and sales experience. In-depth knowledge of the Los Angeles cultural and entertainment market.
