L&L Hawaiian Barbecue (known colloquially as L&L) is an American restaurant chain. The specialty of the L&L restaurants is that they are all Hawaiian-themed. The first L&L restaurant was opened as a drive-in in Hawaii. After it earned great reputation, the restaurants expanded to other US states. Today, there are more than 200 restaurants in 12 states and in Japan. The signature meal of L&L is Hawaiian Barbecue plate lunch, which is composed of two servings of rice, one serving of macaroni salad, a local fresh catch, a chicken entrée and an alternate protein.
