Job Positions & Salaries
Medical Assistant: You will prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking patient histories and vital signs. You will have to prepare exam and treatment rooms with the necessary instruments for your patients including preparation and maintenance of supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization. You will assist with preparing for minor surgeries & physicals, scheduling, and lab testing. You will also answer telephone calls.
Prerequisite: 1 year of applicable work experience in a patient care setting or possession of active and unrevoked RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification/ABR-OE credentials.
Patient Care Technician: You will perform direct patient care as assigned by the RN and report observations, results of procedures, and patient/family needs to appropriate persons. You will perform technical skills and designated tasks as outlined during educational training, in hospital policy, and per nursing unit requirements. You will document technical procedures and patient care that is performed.
Prerequisite: Graduate of a Nursing Assistant course. Certified by the state.
Registered Nurse Operating Room: You will take care of the patients in the operating room based on the patients’ age and their physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs. You will perform additional duties when asked for.
Prerequisite: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider license. 1 year of related job experience.
