Positions & Salaries

Medical Assistant: You will interview patients and measure vital signs and other pertinent information as required by the department. You will record information in patients’ medical records. You will prepare treatment rooms and patients for examination. You will assist clinicians with the care of the patients. You will take inventory, order and replenish medical supplies and materials. You will give treatments and perform routine laboratory tests as required by the department.

Prerequisite: 6 months of work experience OR successful completion of Kaiser externship. BLS. High school diploma or GED.

Customer Service Specialist: You will resolve complaints and inquiries and provide education to members, prospective members, providers, other insurance carriers, agents, brokers, attorneys, employer groups and other member or provider representatives in writing, in person and over the telephone.

Prerequisite: 1 year of customer service experience. High school diploma or GED.

Appointment Clerk: You will provide high-level member assistance by scheduling various appointments requested, transferring calls appropriately, composing messages, and providing general information.

Prerequisite: 1 year of customer service experience. High school diploma or GED.

Staff Nurse: You will be a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. You will provide care to patients via the therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment and instrumentation, and other health care team members.

Prerequisite: 6 months of work experience. 1 year of recent experience in Critical Care. ACLS certification. BLS certification. High school diploma or GED.
