Job Positions & Salaries
Stationary Engineer: You will monitor and inspect the operating condition of boilers and related equipment to include boiler water, chemical condition, air compressors, tanks, drums; pressure vessels and sheet metal components. You will have to be able to troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in boiler systems and other heavy sheet metal systems and identify situations that are likely to develop into problems.
Prerequisite: 18 years of age. Valid driver’s license.
Installation Technician: You will be responsible for the installation of inside and outside the wire and cable plant, including CAT 5/6 and fiber cables; wire/cable support systems; LAN/WAN interconnect systems; analog and digital radios; microwave and fiber optic transmission equipment, including communication towers and telephone poles; workstation voice and data equipment; and similar work in connection with telecommunications equipment.
Prerequisite: 21 years of age. Valid driver’s license. Having an acceptable driving record per your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Either formal training equivalent to an associate’s degree or higher in the electronics field or a related technical field OR 4+ years of experience working with electrical components or working with electronic equipment (e.g., on-farm machinery, trucks, airplanes, ships, etc.). You will have to pass a pre-employment test in English before being allowed to interview.
Licenced Electrician: You will perform all aspects of industrial facility wiring installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Prerequisite: Holding a Journeyman card from a city, state or the union or a Journeyman Lineman card. 21 years of age. Valid driver’s license. Having an acceptable driving record per your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
