Seattle’s Best Coffee Job Descriptions
Barista: You will provide a prompt, courteous, and excellent beverage service to all guests at all times. You should keep your workstation clean and neat. You will be expected to ensure the availability of stocks all the time by adhering to the cafés ordering and inventory control procedures. You will earn about $12.14 per hour.
Prerequisite: None.
Baker: You will mix, knead and shape dough for bread. You will prepare the ingredients and bake the required number of yields for different product types such as bread and pastries, and innovate through product development activities. You must maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
Prerequisite: 1 year of baking experience.
Bakeshop Supervisor: You will supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in mixing, dividing, molding, and proofing of dough, and in baking, slicing, and wrapping of bread, pastries, and other bakery products. You will examine dough and batter for specified consistency.
Prerequisite: Bachelor’s/College Degree in Food & Beverage Services Management or equivalent. 2 years of working experience in a related field.
